Pam truck #35357 hits parked truck, Loves, Emerson, GA
Video from a Viofo A119V2 dash cam.
a119v3a Viofo A119V3 pre-release video sample, Day
Daytime video sample from a Viofo A119V3 dash cam.
The previous Viofo dash cams have been reliable, and one of my first choices for use in large trucks. The A119V3 should retail around $120, US, with the GPS mount. It should arrive in online retailers in the next few weeks. The current, older version, the A119V2, is still a good choice, and a little cheaper. The V3 should have better night video than the V2, but I have not been able to come up with many night video samples to compare, yet.
You can see your speed as determined by the GPS embedded in the bottom left of the video. I prefer to have my speed displayed, I drive very modestly. Some drivers worry about the GPS on the video 'telling' on them, if the police seize the cam. I may be a few MPH over the speed limit, I don't worry about it. It will be hard for the cops, or me, to prove the $10 GPS module option is accurate enough to write a ticket on, or as defense against a claimed speed infraction unless it is totally ridiculous. In casual scrutiny, the GPS speed can show you are adjusting your speed to sudden traffic conditions.
If you're worried about having a record of you speeding too often, make sure you use a smaller memory card in your cam, 8 GB, 16 GB, etc. A 64 GB card yield around 8 hours of coverage.
The A119 will use a 128 GB card, also, reliably.
Pre-release Viofo A119V3 Video samples
The Viofo A119V3 will be hitting online, and other retailers, soon, but I was shipped one recently for testing and review. Price has not been set, yet, but should be higher than the current A119V2. Night performance should be superior to the V2.
All previous versions of the A119 have been reliable, and a good value. I've used an A119 of various versions in a tractor trailer for 400,000 miles or so, and an A118 for a few years before the A119 was introduced.
I have always recommended the A118, or A119 for use in trucks, the V3 appears to be no exception.
Here's a video sample, at dawn, of the A119V3:

Here's the A119V2, with the same footage:

Trans Am truck #90415 hits my mirror while parking, lies about it. Murf...
This video is from a Viofo A119v2 Dashcam, a cam I recommend for truckers. Reliable, good day and night video. Under $90 at various online retailers.

Mobius Maxi, night, parked sample
The earlier versions of the Mobius were compact, and reliable cameras, but the recorded video at night was pretty lacking. The Maxi seems to have improved the night video substantially. I'm running one in my truck now as a second camera, and am happy with it.

I-76 East of Brush, CO. Car runs off road?
Christmas Eve, (hence the music). Watch the second car that passes me on the left closely. It eventually slides or runs off of the road after it passes the truck ahead of me. At first I thought it was just taking an off ramp 'aggressively', but saw the car in an open field, far ahead of the ramp, when I passed it. The car was not there when I passed the same location in the other direction 12 hours later. Video from a Blueskysea B1W dashcam.

DD Pai Mini truck video samples and overview
The DD Pai Mini is a small, basic dashcam, that is fairly easy to use, and reliable, but has some shortcomings. The overall size is roughly the size of two 'D' cells, end to end.
The overall video is 'OK', but not very sharp.
The one piece camera body and mount means you can't remove the camera body easily from where it's mounted, (assuming windshield) without replacing the adhesive tape.
The configuration of the card slot means it's a little hard to access the card with the camera mounted. (Inset, behind the hinged door)
For use in a tractor trailer, (Or other vehicle with a more vertical windshield) the detents on the rotation camera section are spaced a little too far apart. It's hard to get the image you want.
An additional problem in using this camera on a more vertical windshield, (Like in a large truck or bus) it's very hard to clean the windshield under the camera without removing the cam. (and replacing the tape, etc) There's really not enough clearance between the cam, and glass. ( I considered placing the cam further back from the glass on a flat part of some overhead trim, but decided I didn't like the cam enough to live with it for long, and it would stay on the glass 'temporarily') 😜
Below: The camera body and mount are one piece. You can also see the card slot, (card not fully inserted) and the hinged cover door. I couldn't plug a USB cable into the Mini and access the card on my laptop as an 'external drive'. Imagine the cam mounted high on a truck windshield, and trying to get that card out! I had to use the tip of a pen to push in on the card to get it to pop out. Dittos, getting the card back in!
Below: This is what's in the box! The round 'snapshot' button is at the lower right. Along with the camera, long USB cable, power adapter, you have some spare adhesive tapes for the button, and cam mount, a tool to tuck the wire into trim crevices, as well as some adhesive cable keepers.
Below: DDPai Mini, (left) next to Viofo A119V2. The A119V2 is a much better dashcam.
If I was going to leave the Mini installed, I'd route the wire neatly, but it's not going to up there much longer. The Mini does have a nice, bright, flashing LED to let you know the cam is functioning. It also has some voice announcements, saying 'Hello' when you turn it on, as well as remind you to format new memory cards.
Below: short cell phone video showing the Mini and A119v2 operating. The music you hear is from the radio, not a cam.
The Good?
- It seems to be reliable, and the file sizes are pretty small. I'm seeing 12+ hours of video with a 64gb card.
- The 'snapshot' button is modestly useful, and works.
- The App works, and you need it. (There's no other way to change settings on this button-less, display-less, dash cam.
- The price (around $50) is OK, but there are similar cams around the same price point that do better, overall. (One I will be testing in a few weeks is the same, generic format, but has a comparable camera body that can be removed from the mount.)
This isn't a totally bad cam, but has some limitations. It is probably easier to live with in a smaller vehicle, with an sloping windshield, or as a 'rear' cam in a smaller vehicle.

Viofo WR1, skip this one for now.
The WR1 is a smallish dashcam, with overall good video, but it has some problems.
The recorded audio is very soft, almost worthless.
The red and green led that indicate proper operation, are very dim.
You just can't see them in normal daylight. Since the WR1 has no screen, it would be easy to overlook a malfunctioning cam.
It doesn't look like the problems will be fixed on the current models via firmware updates, since they've issued several updates since this camera has been released.
It's a shame, the WR1 has been reliable in a few months of use, but I'd skip this cam for now.
Here's a sample of the recorded audio level, compared to a Mobius Dash/action cam.
